Committee’s

The NextGen Committee is a platform for IBEW members aged 35 and under. We are dedicated to fostering engagement, activism, and leadership among our younger members. Our goal is to empower the next generation of electrical workers to actively participate in their local unions and contribute to a stronger IBEW for the future.

Key Objectives:

• Leadership Development: Providing opportunities for young members to develop leadership skills and take on active roles within the union.
• Resource Hub: Offering valuable resources and support to help young members navigate their careers and contribute effectively to their local.
• Engagement and Activism: Encouraging young members to share ideas, ask questions, and participate in union initiatives.
• Inclusivity: Creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all young electrical workers.

Our Mission

The IBEW Local 402 Women’s Committee is dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and supporting all female members of our local union. We strive to promote equality, advocate for underrepresented groups, and foster a welcoming environment for all.

What We Do

• Mentorship: We provide guidance and support to apprentices and journeywomen.
• Advocacy: We champion the interests of women in the electrical industry.
